Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Position

Job Summary:

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to fill a Labor and Delivery position in Washington, DC. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting, including assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Administer medications, perform medical procedures, and use medical equipment as needed to provide patient care.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in Labor and Delivery care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Current DC License
  • 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
  • AHA BLS Certification
  • NRP Certification
  • NCC EFM Certification
