Job Title: CLEARED Lead FPGA Electronic Warfare Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CLEARED Lead FPGA Electronic Warfare Design Engineer to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing advanced electronic warfare and multi-function systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop FPGA-based electronic warfare systems
  • Lead FPGA design teams in coding, simulation, synthesis, place and route, and verification testing
  • Implement advanced signal processing techniques and electronic warfare algorithms in FPGAs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and test complex electronic warfare systems
  • Ensure timely and within-budget delivery of projects
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • 9+ years of experience in FPGA design, with a focus on digital signal processing and electronic warfare
  • Expertise in VHDL or Verilog hardware development languages
  • Experience with digital communications architectural design and implementation of electronic warfare algorithms
  • Security clearance with a valid level of at least Secret
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with simulation, synthesis, and placement software tools such as ModelSim, Synplicity, Xilinx Vivado / ISE, and/or Altera Quartus development tool sets
  • Knowledge of laboratory debug techniques using signal generators, digital oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, BERTS, and other complex measurement devices
  • Experience with timing closure in large FPGAs and signal detection and identification
