We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at LyondellBasell North America. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing all phases of general plant maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to ensure optimal plant performance.
Key Responsibilities- Support the health, safety, and environmental initiatives and programs at the Jackson facility.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, and develop root cause analysis to prevent future issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
- Document all maintenance activities, including records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and equipment performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in a maintenance-related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, including electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, PLCs, and mechanical equipment maintenance.
- Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office products required; SAP Maintenance Module knowledge a plus.
- Ability to work in a team environment, with minimal supervision, and influence colleagues at all levels.
- Relentless in driving results from self and others, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with occasional overtime and rotating shifts.
