KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the general guidance of the Chief Executive Officer and direct supervision of the Practice Manager, the Primary Care physician will perform the following duties while adhering to established policies and procedures:
- Deliver high-quality, cost-effective healthcare services.
- Collaborate with internists, family practitioners, and pediatricians to enhance the efficiency of primary care.
- Contribute to the recruitment of primary care physicians to meet community healthcare needs.
- Foster a culture of collegial collaboration within the practice.
- Focus on community needs and patient interests regarding access, quality, cost, and satisfaction.
- Devote professional time and efforts to the responsibilities of the position.
- Participate in decisions regarding the recruitment of primary care physicians and specialists based on quality of care and group culture fit.
- Encourage respect and appreciation among primary care physicians and specialists.
- Engage in business decisions that impact the practice.
- Ensure that future members of the practice have equal rights and obligations.
- Support the management structure and governance of the practice.
- Maintain tax-exempt status while serving the underserved populations.
- Base compensation on individual productivity, following recommendations from the compensation committee.
- Ensure competitive compensation and benefits aligned with national and regional standards.
- Compensation will not be influenced by the third-party payer mix.
- Track and report physician activities within the healthcare system regularly.
- Limit debt to approved business plans or as authorized by the governing body.
Candidates must demonstrate the following qualifications or the ability to perform essential job functions:
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, standing, and mobility.
- Effective communication skills for conveying detailed information.
- Visual acuity for detailed inspections and data analysis.
- Familiarity with continuous quality improvement strategies.

PHI ACCESS: Complete
WORK SCHEDULE: A full-time schedule consists of 36 patient contact hours per week, with additional administrative hours. Schedules may vary based on daily hours worked.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited medical school with an MD or DO degree.
- Demonstrated experience as a physician with a strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with completion of boards within two years.
- Current state medical license.
