The Maintenance Technician I is a key member of the Comfort Inn team, responsible for ensuring the hotel's physical structure and mechanical systems are well-maintained and functioning properly. This role plays a critical part in delivering exceptional guest service and driving financial profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Facilities Maintenance: Ensure the hotel's building, equipment, and grounds are well-maintained and meet hotel policies and procedures.
- Sanitation and Chemical Management: Manage sanitation requirements and apply relevant chemicals in accordance with hotel protocols.
- Timely Response: Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests, employees, and management to maximize room availability.
- Alarm Response: Immediately respond to alarms, identify the cause, and report findings.
- Safety and Compliance: Identify and address safety concerns, and ensure all work is completed in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete required paperwork and maintain organized work sites.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You will also need to be physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment.
