Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Acadia Healthcare. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the financial success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare and submit corporate required reports, including the Monthly Operating Report, Monthly Certifications, and Corporate Disclosures.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and internal controls to ensure a clean audit with no material audit adjustments or deficiencies.
  • Direct the operations of the Revenue Cycle to ensure timely collection of accounts receivable and minimize uncompensated care.
  • Supervise Accounting, Patient Accounting, Health Information Management, Materials Management, and other departments as assigned by the CEO.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a business-related field with a major in Accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years of successful CFO experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in behavioral healthcare.
  • Previous experience with a proprietary healthcare system is highly preferred.
  • CPA or Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven financial analysis skills and experience working with information technology and software packages, including Excel and Word.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think strategically and solve problems.
