Job Summary:

Memorial Hospital of Carbondale (MHC) is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing interventional procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform interventional procedures per protocol and established procedures
  • Follow established protocols and procedures for proper patient position, exposure control, and radiation protection
  • Utilize PACS and EMR systems to manage patient information and imaging data
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Active Illinois license from IEMA
  • Board-certified x-ray technologist through ARRT
  • Interventional Radiology or cath lab experience
  • Associate degree
  • ARRT Certification in Radiology
  • IEMA BLST
  • Technical experience: 3 years
