We are seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our anesthesia department.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain inventory of anesthesia machines and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and properly stocked.
- Assist anesthesia providers with setup and preparation of equipment and supplies for procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of anesthesia equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure efficient room turnover and preparation for new cases.
- Adhere to infection control policies and sharps safety protocols at all times.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
