About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our team at AMT Engineering. As a key member of our water resources division, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients with expertise in urban stormwater projects, flood mitigation, and stormwater management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow into a leading technical role for hydrology and hydraulics modeling, with engineering design, reporting, and permitting support.
  • Coordinate internally with other AMT engineers on a wide variety of projects.
  • Coordinate externally with clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure project deliverables are complete, meet client requirements, and follow QA/QC procedures.
Requirements
  • BS in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of water resources related experience, including design.
  • Hydrology and hydraulic modeling experience (PC-SWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HydroCAD, and similar).
  • Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) and Professional Engineer or EIT preferred.
  • Design experience with AutoCAD, and Civil 3D required.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
