Job Description

Overview

BAE Systems USA is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in a design and analysis role. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and analysis of electromechanical hardware and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex mechanical systems and hardware
  • Perform detailed design and analysis using state-of-the-art mechanical engineering development software tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet customer requirements
  • Support the production and sustainment of mechanical systems and hardware
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and presentations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5 years of experience (4 with master's degree)
  • Demonstrated experience in product development and support of DoD military electronics equipment
  • Solid fundamentals of mechanical design, analysis, and documentation principles
  • Experience with state-of-the-art mechanical engineering development software tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge/experience with manufacturing, production, and sustainment of mechanical systems and hardware
  • Experience in the design/development of complex mechanical systems and hardware
  • Experience in the design and manufacture of electronic circuit card assemblies
