Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Engineer to play a crucial role in a complex infrastructure project. As a key interface between transportation companies, installation teams, and the client, you will provide strong support to the logistics and installation teams during the planning and execution phases of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Contract Management: Specific planning, procurement, and monitoring of contracts with subcontractors and coordination of oversize and heavy transports across all modes of transportation and handling.
• Route Optimization: Coordination and support in conducting customized route, port, and site checks, taking into account freight details, transportation methods, infrastructure, and relevant legislation.
• Transport Solutions: Developing transport solutions for issues that arise during the planning process.
• Procedure Development: Creating work instructions and procedures in line with project requirements.
• Subcontractor Evaluation: Evaluating and approving subcontractor procedures.
• Technical Support: Assisting the project management team with technical or commercial inquiries.
• Interface Management: Managing interfaces between the installation team and transport subcontractors.
• Network Support: Supporting other project disciplines through a strong network of contacts and interfaces.

Requirements

• Education: University degree in logistics or a comparable qualification.
