The Laurels of Galesburg is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Unit Manager to lead our skilled nursing team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and guidance to our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate nursing care provided by Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants.
- Develop and implement nursing procedures and systems to ensure high-quality care.
- Assess and evaluate the delivery of guest care and staff performance.
- Contribute to guest assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
- Evaluate guest responses to nursing interventions and understand the rational for medication and treatment administration.
- Current state nursing licensure required.
- Current CPR certification and additional certification in a nursing specialty desired.
- Management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
