We present both institutional and individual investors with unique alternative investment opportunities aimed at achieving exceptional performance, risk-adjusted returns, and capital preservation.
We are currently in search of a Senior Vice President in Investment Operations, focusing on our life science equity trading platform and private credit sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the equity team and manage daily trading and settlement operations.
- Collaborate closely with portfolio managers and accounting teams on new investment initiatives, including private deals, IPOs, and equity transactions.
- Conduct reconciliations for positions, transactions, and cash related to public/private equities, options, and other financial instruments.
- Monitor trading activities and manage cash flow utilizing platforms such as Enfusion, Citco, DTCC, CTM, and prime brokerage services.
- Process corporate actions through order management systems and liaise with administrators or custodians.
- Coordinate with transfer agents, prime brokers, and custodians to facilitate share custody through various delivery methods.
- Ensure timely and accurate settlement of trades with brokers and fund administrators.
- Prepare funding memos and direction letters for private equity and public equity transactions in collaboration with company counsel and administrators.
- Maintain quality control throughout the trade workflow from order management to vendor execution.
- Develop expertise in product knowledge to assist in training future team members.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in the financial services sector.
- Professional background in equity operations.
- Exemplary professionalism and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Capability to multitask while maintaining focus.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
