Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Skate Guard at the Everett Arena. As a Skate Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of skaters during sessions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized rink environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol the ice during skating sessions to ensure the safety of skaters
  • Interact with the public in a positive and professional manner
  • Assist with collecting money at the front office and handing out tickets
  • Help hand out and put away rental skates in the Pro Shop
  • Provide simple first aid and fill out accident reports as needed
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks after each session
Requirements
  • Good skating ability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Completed application and background check
Working Conditions

This is a part-time seasonal position, with a typical work shift of weekdays from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm and weekends as needed. Seasonal employees are eligible for holiday pay and may be scheduled to work on holidays.

Pay rate is $13.00 to $15.60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
