Job Title: DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in the Tactical Space organization's Software Factory in Dulles, VA. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud native technologies and contribute to the development of innovative software solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automated deployment pipelines for cloud native applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible
  • Ensure monitoring and health of resources deployed via Nagios and other enterprise management solutions
  • Document procedures used during deployment cycles and provide training to team members
  • Work with the fellow DevOps team to troubleshoot complex issues and implement clean and maintainable infrastructure-as-code
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or software development
  • Strong experience in Linux tools, Ansible, and Ansible Playbooks
  • Demonstrated automation, test automation, and shell scripting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 9 years of experience; OR a master's degree and 7 years; OR a PhD and 4 years
  • U.S. Citizenship with a current or active Top-Secret clearance at time of application
