Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at the City of Cincinnati. As a key member of our Supply Division, you will be responsible for managing capital projects, facility and process improvements, and managing activities in the maintenance section.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage capital improvement projects and maintenance programs for electrical equipment and instrumentation & control systems.
  • Participate in asset management, capital planning, and safety initiatives following National Electric Code (NEC).
  • Design and construct mechanical and electrical systems, utility plants, and other projects with varying degrees of responsibility.
  • Develop and maintain databases and maps for information on retaining walls and geography.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Plan and manage the activities of subordinate workers; manage construction projects.
Requirements
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio, or in a state with equivalent registration requirements.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
  • Enrolled as a Senior in a Bachelor's Degree program in engineering at an accredited college or university, or possess a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Possession of an Engineer-in-Training Certificate from any state.
