Position: Material Handler

Core Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Manage all aspects of materials utilizing warehouse inventory management software.
  • Label and dispatch orders in accordance with established protocols for each client.
  • Precisely pick and weigh all outgoing shipments.
  • Conduct inspections of freight and adhere to appropriate reporting protocols.
  • Assist in inventory management and cycle counts.
  • Rotate and replenish stock on shelves following inventory guidelines.
  • Verify all incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Deliver prompt and accurate customer service.
  • Organize and maintain filing and record-keeping systems.
  • Document monthly activities for end-of-period reporting.
  • Safely load and unload trailers using equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
  • Shrink wrap freight pallets for secure transport.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of general warehouse experience.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Experience with Warehouse Oracle Database is advantageous.
  • Must be capable of frequently lifting and/or moving up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Forklift certification is preferred.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Capability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and management.
