At Little Leaves Behavioral Services, we are dedicated to providing high-quality treatment for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) ages 1 to 6. Our passionate clinicians and technicians work one-on-one with young clients to prepare them for success in school and life. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in facilitating learning and growth through individualized treatment plans developed by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts.

The Therapist Assistant provides 1:1 treatment to assigned clients based on evidenced-based practices (i.e., Applied Behavior Analysis; ABA). You will implement individualized therapy hours, collect data on client progress, and maintain open communication with families, coworkers, supervisors, and other stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate the ability to follow instructional guidance, interact well with children and families, and work collaboratively as part of a therapy team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of individual treatment plans for assigned caseload
  • Evaluation of treatment effectiveness using direct observation, data collection, and discussion with clinical supervisor
  • Documentation of client progress in daily data collection and session notes
  • Attending staff meetings, required training, and other meetings as assigned
  • Maintenance of client confidentiality and adherence to professional ethics

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required; completion of associate degree/bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, special education, or related field preferred
  • Commitment to earning a Registered Behavior Technician credential within 60-90 days of hire
  • Experience working with children with special needs, e.g., autism or developmental delays
  • Able to lift, push, pull children up to 40 pounds, and complete physical demands of the job

Salary: Estimated salary range $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
