Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Highland House. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize all cooking utensils, pots, pans, and trays, and polish silverware to a high standard.
  • Ensure all trash and recyclables are properly segregated and disposed of in designated containers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sweeping and mopping floors, washing worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other surface areas.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, and restock tools and supplies for the next shift.
  • Monitor and maintain temperature logs, and keep the walk-in cooler and freezer organized.
  • Assist cooks in properly prepping, storing, and dating food.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a food service environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift, carry, or pull heavy objects.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
