Pediatric Speech Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Speech Therapist to join our team at Children's Therapy Center. As a member of our Early Support for Infants & Toddlers (ESIT) Team, you will play a vital role in providing individualized, family-centered therapy to infants and toddlers with special needs.
Responsibilities:- Conduct family-centered screenings, evaluations, and ongoing assessments to inform eligibility determination and contribute to full evaluation reports.
- Collaborate with caregivers to develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) that support healthy development and well-being.
- Provide coaching and support to caregivers in the home, natural environment, and/or telehealth, utilizing a coaching model that promotes health, well-being, and development of the whole child.
- Develop strong relationships with caregivers and work collaboratively with community members and multi-disciplinary ESIT team to meet family's needs.
- Participate in team meetings, staffing, in-services, peer coaching/consultation, and ensure compliance with Children's Therapy Center's, IDEA Part B & C's processes, policies, and timelines.
- Degree in speech and hearing sciences or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Must have or obtain a SLP license in the State of Washington.
- Must have or obtain ASHA Certification.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, required.
- Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to convey thoughts and express ideas effectively.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to organize work to meet various commitments and responsibilities.
- Ability to anticipate potential challenges and adjust to changes as needed.
- Collaborative and participatory, with a deep passion for empowering children with special needs and supporting their families to achieve their full potential.
Children's Therapy Center offers equitable and competitive pay commensurate with job-related experience and education. The pay rate range for this position is $37.98-$57.50 per hour dependent on related experience and education. Our comprehensive benefits package includes generous paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and continuing education benefits. Supplemental/premium insurance options are also available. Eligible employees can enroll in our retirement plan with their first paycheck and will be eligible for company contributions after their first year of employment.
