System Monitoring
  • Proactive Monitoring and Logging: Implement proactive monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and security compliance.
  • Notification and Communication: Provide immediate notification and detailed communication in the event of system-wide outages or performance issues.
Security and Compliance
  • Security Posture Maintenance: Leverage knowledge of NIST standards to maintain the APS security posture.
  • Security Scans: Conduct regular security scans as part of the build processes.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation
  • Collaboration and Innovation: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement innovative approaches throughout the SDLC.
  • Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing and regression testing after major releases to ensure system stability.
  • DevSecOps: Utilize DevSecOps processes to enhance speed, agility, and reduce risks.
  • Analysis and Evaluation: Perform detailed analysis of proposed innovations to evaluate their benefits and feasibility.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 6 years of Cloud Engineering experience.
  • Clearance and Certification: Must possess and maintain TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph and professional certification(s) in AWS.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of AWS core services, experience with automation tools, proficiency in scripting languages, solid understanding of networking protocols and security best practices, knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Preferred Qualifications: AWS Certification, experience in Intelligence Community or Homeland Security or Law Enforcement IT and understanding of Counterterrorism mission support.
