Local Contract Nurse On Call RN

Tallavera is seeking a highly skilled local contract nurse to join their team in Rochester, New York.
Job Overview- Job Type: Local Contract
- Shift: 8 hours, days, evenings, nights, flexible, on call
This position requires a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working closely with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Assess and Chart Patient Condition: Assess and chart observations of the patient's condition at each visit.
- Complete Evaluation Tasks: Complete evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication, vital signs, and complete head-to-toe assessment.
- Administer Skilled Nursing Treatments: Administer skilled nursing treatments and interventions, including but not limited to at-home IV infusion, wound assessment, wound care, and education aimed at promoting and maintaining patient independence.
- Develop Treatment Plans: Revises plan of treatments and discharge plan in conjunction with registered nurse case manager, patient, family, physician, care delivery team, and third party payors, including obtaining medical orders and approval of medical services.
- Provide Preventive Strategies:
- Consult and Educate: Consults with and educates the patient, family, and other team members regarding disease process, self-care techniques, and preventive strategies.
- New York State Licensed RN: Must have a current New York State license as a Registered Nurse.
- Clinical Experience: One year of experience as a clinical nurse in a hospital or other direct patient care clinical setting required.
- Strong Critical Thinking Skills: Strong critical thinking skills, the ability to follow standards/procedures, and make appropriate clinical judgments to provide safe and effective client care.
- Ability to Work Independently: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, adapt to change, and manage a variety of assignments while establishing priorities and ensuring the necessary duties are completed.
- Current NYS Driver's License: Current NYS driver's license required.
$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
