As a Lead Audit Strategist, you will leverage your educational background and organizational expertise to serve our diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will possess experience with both for-profit and non-profit organizations, or a blend of both.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships within your area of expertise and for assigned clients.
  • Oversee fieldwork on financial statement audits and accounting projects.
  • Plan and track the progress of engagements against budgets and deadlines.
  • Supervise and review engagement planning, while mentoring and evaluating associates and supervisors.
  • Review all deliverables prior to submission to Partners for further assessment.
  • Negotiate fees and ensure accurate billing to clients.
  • Act as a liaison among Partners, clients, and staff.
  • Exhibit proficient technical skills to manage all client responsibilities, including awareness of industry trends and alternatives.
  • Understand the client's organizational structure, procedures, and internal policies.
  • Own client relationships and deliverables.
  • Provide clients with strategic recommendations and guidance to help them achieve their objectives and identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with staff, assisting senior management in mentoring, coaching, training, supervising, and evaluating team members.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, demonstrating support for management decisions and cultivating a positive workplace culture.
  • Engage in practice development initiatives that contribute to new business generation and cross-service opportunities.
Additional Responsibilities

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business.
  • Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • 8+ years of technical audit experience in public accounting or a related field, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • CPA or equivalent certification is mandatory.
  • Ability to manage all facets of client engagements.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication across all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory capabilities, along with strong operational and project management skills.
  • Proficient in relevant technology.
We are seeking a full-time candidate. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, with expected overtime during peak seasons and sporadically throughout the year. These periods may require increased weekly hours, including weekends.
