Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Job Description

At Concentra, we are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our patient care team. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine patients, compile medical data, and interpret diagnostic test results.
  • Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory tests.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in providing continuity of care.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, clients, and peers while incorporating Orange Book values.
  • Ensure accuracy when completing and executing tasks, and perform quality assurance checks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related health field from an accredited college or university.
  • Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program).
  • Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE).
  • Current licensed physician assistant in the state where employed and in accordance with state laws of practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least one year of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting.
