Position Overview:
The Biomedical Equipment Service Technician is responsible for delivering clinical equipment services under the direct oversight of departmental leadership. Key responsibilities encompass thorough inspections of medical devices to ensure completeness, functionality, and adherence to safety standards.

Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections and calibrations of various clinical equipment.
- Perform repairs on general equipment and assist in troubleshooting complex devices.
- Ensure compliance with mechanical and electrical safety protocols.

Qualifications:
Essential:
- An Associate's degree in biomedical equipment technology, electronics, or a related field is required. Coursework should include foundational knowledge in anatomy, physiology, chemistry, and medical terminology.
- A minimum of one year of experience in clinical equipment services, ideally within a healthcare setting.

Preferred Skills:
- Proficient understanding of electronics, including solid-state technology and integrated circuits.
- Familiarity with safety standards and performance metrics related to biomedical instruments.
- Knowledge of the operation and safe use of patient-care equipment is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are a must.

Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position is competitive, reflecting verified education and experience.

Employment Type:
This is a full-time role with standard work hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, including additional shifts and on-call responsibilities as required.
