Job Title:

Aircraft Assembly Technician

Shift: 6am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday

Job Overview: As an Aircraft Assembly Technician, you will be tasked with the assembly, modification, and installation of aircraft components and structures in accordance with detailed specifications.

This position requires proficiency in interpreting blueprints, specifications, and work orders to ensure adherence to quality standards. You will set up and operate various shop equipment while troubleshooting issues that may arise during the assembly process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data collection to monitor assembly progress.
  • Perform reworks or modifications as necessary during the assembly phase.
  • Manage materials and tools effectively to ensure smooth operations.

Essential Skills:

  • Riveting techniques
  • Blueprint interpretation
  • Complex assembly processes
  • Operation of shop equipment, including drill presses and rivet presses
  • Forklift and overhead crane operation
