Geotechnical Engineer

We're seeking a skilled Geotechnical EIT/Designer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure design team, you'll be responsible for geotechnical analysis and design of infrastructure projects, including roadways, retaining walls, bridges, buildings, dams, soil, and rock slopes, asphalt, and concrete pavements.

• Work under a licensed PE to conduct geotechnical analysis and design of infrastructure projects
• Review boring logs, laboratory data, and design plans for geotechnical tasks such as slope stability, settlement analysis, and construction recommendations
• Design shallow and deep foundation systems, including driven piles and drilled shafts
• Provide project-specific analysis of liquefaction potential with seismic considerations, slide remediation, and ground improvement
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and foundation reports for geotechnical projects
• Coordinate with project managers to implement measures to successfully meet project goals and objectives

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field
• EIT or ability to obtain within 12 months
• Knowledge of soil mechanics
• Familiarity with engineering software
• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Previous geotechnical-related engineering experience
• Local candidates are preferred

This is a full-time position with regular business hours.
