The Program
We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Medicine physician to join our team at Physician Empire in San Jose, California. Our program is a comprehensive stroke center with a well-known intensivist program for Neurocritical Care.
Key Highlights:
- 24/7 Coverage Model: Our program operates on a 24/7 coverage model, ensuring that our patients receive continuous care and attention.
- 12-Hour Block Shift Schedule: Our physicians work on a 12-hour block shift schedule with dedicated time off, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
- 37 ICU Beds: Our ICU has 37 beds, with 20 Neuro/Med/Surg and 17 CVICU beds, providing a wide range of critical care services.
- Cardiac Cases: Our program performs a high volume of cardiac cases, including TAVR and STS 2-star program cases, with no EMCO or LVADs at this time.
- Neurocritical Care: Our program is a well-known intensivist program for Neurocritical Care, with a comprehensive stroke center and neurointerventional physician on site.
Requirements:
- MD or DO: Must be a licensed physician with an MD or DO degree.
- Critical Care Medicine Certification: Must be board certified in Critical Care Medicine.
- Neurocritical Care Certification: Board certification in Neurocritical Care is preferred, and ELNS is required.
- Experience: Experience with Cardiac Critical Care is preferred.
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the United States and not a J1 visa qualified area.
- Teamwork: Ability to work as a team member and commit to excellence in clinical service.
- Communication: Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to perform all technical skills in the critical care setting.
