Job Description

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a fellowship-trained Pediatric Sports Medicine Surgeon to lead its Division of Pediatric Orthopedic Sports Medicine in the Delaware Valley.

This is a unique opportunity to join one of the largest pediatric programs in the country, with a team of 14 surgeons, two nonoperative physicians, 18 advanced practice providers, and three clinical fellows.

The Division Chief will drive the strategic growth and development of our Sports Medicine Program, providing high-quality, expert clinical care for pediatric sports injuries and maintaining an active clinical practice.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric orthopedic sports medicine, with experience in leading training programs for fellows, residents, and medical students.

The Division Chief will also be responsible for promoting and expanding research activities within the department, representing Nemours Children's in local, regional, and national forums and specialty societies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and expand the Delaware Valley Sports Medicine Division
  • Provide high-quality, expert clinical care for pediatric sports injuries and maintain an active clinical practice
  • Lead training programs for fellows, residents, and medical students
  • Promote and expand research activities within the department
  • Represent Nemours Children's in local, regional, and national forums and specialty societies
Qualifications
  • Board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Pediatric Orthopedic Sports Medicine fellowship training
  • Certificate of added qualification in Sports Medicine
  • Eligible for medical licensure in DE, NJ, and PA
