Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Local City Driver to join our team. As a Local City Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods to and from various destinations within a designated area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
  • Loading and unloading of trailers utilizing the same techniques, technology, and procedures as a dock worker.
  • Ensuring all cargo is properly secured and protected during transportation.
  • Conducting pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Complying with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (candidates with less than 1 year experience may be eligible for training).
  • Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements and no automatic restriction.
  • Good stable work record.
  • Safe driving record (from MVR and previous employment).
  • Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements.
