Atrium Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our Resource Team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, utilizing your expertise and knowledge to ensure the highest level of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Develop and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to facility policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring seamless care transitions.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- 1 year of nursing experience in a specialty area, preferably in Emergency Department.
- Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state where you work and reside.
Physical Requirements
This role requires the ability to walk, stand, sit, lift, reach, stoop, bend, push, and pull. Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Must speak English in good, understandable terms. Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, and touch. Finger dexterity. Critical thinking and ability to concentrate.
