Gastroenterology Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced gastroenterologist to join our team at the University of Kentucky. As an attending physician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching and supervising residents and medical students, and participating in clinical research and education.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in the Clinical Gastroenterology Programs within the Division of Digestive Diseases and Nutrition at the University of Kentucky.
- Serve as an Attending and/or Consulting Physician at the UK HealthCare Hospitals and/or the Veterans Administration Hospital for no less than three months per year.
- Patient care responsibilities will include Advanced Interventional GI service and general gastroenterology services at the UK HealthCare outpatient clinics and possibly other outreach clinics.
- Provide teaching and supervision of residents and medical students in all clinical settings (inpatient, outpatient, and clinical research subjects).
- Will be an active participant in postgraduate education/CME efforts.
- Serve on appropriate Division, Department, University, Hospital, and College committees.
- Participation in Continuing Education Programs at the College of Medicine.
- MD degree or equivalent.
- Completion of residency and fellowship training in Gastroenterology or equivalent.
- Completion of Advanced Interventional GI training.
- Ky Medical License at time of employment.
