Highly Experienced Travel Nurse Wanted for Progressive Care Unit

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Travel Nurse to join our team in Spokane, WA. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit environment.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience, with a strong background in caring for patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment. You will be responsible for utilizing computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information, detecting any changes and enabling intervention of life-threatening or emergency situations.
About the Role- You will provide basic bedside care, stabilize critical cardiac patients, and prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication.
- You will also change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs, as well as prepare and record electronic displays.
- Initiating corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology is also an essential part of this role.
This position requires you to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty, and lift up to 50 pounds at times. You should possess good skills for coping with stress and be able to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
Requirements- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit environment.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
Salary: $120,000 per year (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week). This salary is tax-free, with a stipend amount to be determined. The exact salary may vary based on qualifications and experience.
