We are seeking an experienced Ironwork Specialist to join our client's construction team in NE Portland. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in assembling, installing, and maintaining steel structures used in construction projects, and will be able to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plans.

Responsibilities

This role involves working at heights, operating lifting equipment like cranes and hoists, and inspecting fabricated steel structures to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications. A salary of $28-$33 per hour (DOE) is offered for this position, which also comes with medical, dental, sick leave, holiday pay, and 401K benefits.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Structural Steel Fitter or similar role.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of steel fitting techniques and tools.
