Job Overview

Da/Pro Rubber is seeking dedicated Rubber Press Operators to become a vital part of our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining press machines that mold and shape rubber components.

Compensation: The hourly wage for this position ranges from $15.25 to $15.50.

Available Shifts:

  • 2nd Shift: 3 pm - 11 pm, Monday through Friday
  • 3rd Shift: 11 pm - 7 am, Sunday through Thursday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review job specifications to understand procedures and machine settings for rubber component pressing.
  • Load rubber materials into molds for processing.
  • Monitor the operation of press machines, observing indicators to identify any malfunctions.
  • Alert supervisors regarding any issues with rubber components or molds that do not meet quality standards.
  • Provide samples of finished products to quality inspectors and make necessary adjustments based on feedback.
  • Maintain cleanliness of press machine molds by removing excess product using appropriate tools and cleaning solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to comprehend instructions and effectively communicate information.
  • Basic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.
  • Familiarity with basic computer operations for data entry.
  • Proficiency in using standard hand tools.
  • Capability to perform some lifting tasks.

This role requires standing for extended periods and performing moderate lifting, along with the ability to push and pull as necessary.

Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications. Our company provides medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401K plan.

Note: Da/Pro participates in E-Verify and conducts pre-employment drug testing.
