About the Role

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Radiation Oncology and Hem Onc Clinic team at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the development of innovative cancer treatment programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Rotate between Radiation Oncology and Hem Onc Clinic areas, providing care to patients with various types of cancer.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Participate in education and training programs to stay current with best practices in pediatric oncology nursing.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Pediatric Oncology Nurse, with a strong background in patient care principles and equipment.
  • BSN degree, current licensure as a Registered Nurse in California, and current certifications in CPR, PALS, and chemotherapy administration.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain a calm demeanor in crisis situations.
