Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at ComForCare Home Health Care - Suburban Metrolina. As a RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our adult and geriatric clients in their homes, working independently and as part of a team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, and direct the programs, services, and activities of the Agency.
  • Manage, supervise, coordinate, evaluate, and develop client care teams to ensure quality care delivery and appropriate case management.
  • Ensure compliance with North Carolina and South Carolina Home Care regulations.
  • Perform home visits to clients in designated geographic territories, administering medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures as needed.
  • Monitor clients' conditions, reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager.
  • Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders.
  • Perform client assessments as necessary, accurately documenting observations, interventions, and evaluations.
Requirements
  • A current license as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
  • Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
  • Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience in an acute hospital setting or equivalent experience with one year of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory requirements at the state, federal, and local level.
  • Knowledge of business management.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct clinical and administrative personnel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be a licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with Agency and state requirements.
  • Has current CPR certification.
