Position Overview:
The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), College of Medicine, is inviting applications for the role of Assistant Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive care to plastic surgery patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
  • Academic Contributions: Actively participate in the educational and academic initiatives of the institution.
  • Practice Development: Establish a practice with a focus on aesthetic surgical procedures.
  • Teaching Engagement: Involve in the training and education of medical residents, fellows, postdoctoral scholars, and students.

Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Board eligible or Board certified in Plastic Surgery.
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality clinical care, engaging in student and resident education, and conducting research.
  • Fellowship training in Aesthetic Surgery is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated teaching capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.
