Exhibit Fabricator III

Smm Inc is seeking a highly skilled Exhibit Fabricator III to join our team. As an Exhibit Fabricator III, you will be responsible for designing, building, and installing exhibit components and structures for our museum exhibits.

• Design and fabricate exhibit components, including walls, structures, and interactive elements.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
• Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Travel to offsite locations to install and dismantle exhibits, as needed.
• Supervise and train junior team members on fabrication techniques and safety procedures.

• 3+ years of experience in a custom fabrication shop environment.
• Demonstrated history of achievement and excellence in all aspects of fabrication work.
• Intermediate or advanced skills and experience in fabrication areas, such as mold making and casting, electronics, cutting and sewing, drawing and drafting, etc.
• Ability to acquire and master new skills as required to accomplish assigned project tasks.
• Experience leading others in theater set, trade show booth, complex three-dimensional art show or museum exhibition assembly, maintenance and packing.
• Practical computer hardware & software maintenance experience required.
• Significant client or customer service experience recommended.

• Competitive hourly rate: $30.00 - $32.00/hour (dependent on qualifications).
• Wages increase by $9 hourly when traveling for Smm Inc.
