Job Title: Paramedic

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic to join our team at AMR. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency medical calls, providing high-quality patient care, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

* Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action, utilizing progressive Paramedic protocols
* Utilize advanced medical skills on medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids
* Communicate effectively with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given
* Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for scene and unit management as needed
* Drive the ambulance on 911 responses

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
* New Mexico State Paramedic Certification
* State Driver's License
* BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
* Driving record compliant with company policy
* Pass the Physical Agility Test
* Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
