Donations Coordinator

CommunityAid is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donations Associate to join our team. As a key member of our donations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our donation process.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to donors, ensuring a positive experience and promoting a culture of respect and professionalism.
- Unload and sort donated goods, providing receipts and completing necessary paperwork, including daily donor logs.
- Deliver unsellable product to the compactor for baling, stacking, and preparation for shipment, and complete all necessary paperwork.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, emphasizing the use of heavy equipment to avoid employee injuries.
- Work with a high degree of flexibility and responsiveness to meet store needs, including providing assistance with 'rag out,' store opening and closing, and other tasks as assigned by Management.
- Embody CommunityAid's 12 Core Behaviors, demonstrating a strong commitment to our values and mission.
- Exhibit strong customer service and interpersonal relationship skills, with the ability to work professionally with customers, co-workers, and Management.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, with a focus on attention to detail and flexibility.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to pass post-offer, pre-employment physical lift test and drug test.
- Minimum of six months experience working in a warehouse/donations position.
- Ability to obtain Forklift certification.
- Scheduling flexibility and evenings and weekend availability.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Minimum age 18 years old.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
