About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer II to join our team at Phoenix Industrial. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing project controls and management for a single discipline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee project controls and management for a single discipline
  • Interface with clients, engineering/design teams, subcontractors, distributors, vendors, and project management
  • Assist in providing contract required reports (weekly, monthly, schedule)
  • Perform quantity calculations and provide support for site quality plan
  • Participate in jobsite safety reviews, toolbox meetings, and safety training
  • Order and schedule material deliveries, and develop procurement status reports
  • Supervise field operations and perform material takeoffs from drawings and specifications
  • Assist engineers in gathering and preparing data for submittal or transmittal to customers, vendors, and governmental agencies
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in mechanical or structural engineering, construction management, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in EPC or industrial construction
  • Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations
  • Ability to read, analyze, and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents
  • Passion for safety and ability to help ensure that nobody gets hurt
  • Willingness to travel extensively and relocate to project locations for extended periods
