Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal disorders, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders, including gastroesophageal reflux disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and inflammatory bowel disease
- Perform endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopies and upper endoscopies
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans to manage patient conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, radiologists, and pathologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in gastroenterology
- Board certification in Gastroenterology
- Current medical licensure in the state of Georgia
- Completion of a gastroenterology fellowship program
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
