Job Summary

Stanford Health Care is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team at the Cancer Center South Bay. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with physicians, and contribute to the development of our cancer care services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine and management of patients with acute and chronic complaints, in collaboration with supervising physicians.
  • Order and collect specimens for routine laboratory tests, screening procedures, and therapeutic procedures.
  • Order physical therapy, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, radiology examinations, and nursing services.
  • Perform designated procedures after demonstrated competency.
  • Initiate arrangements for hospital admissions and discharges, and complete appropriate paperwork.
  • Enroll patients in investigational studies approved by the Investigational Review Board (IRB), and order necessary tests and medications.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
  • Nursing licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
