Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor who will play a pivotal role in overseeing the maintenance operations of our facilities. This position is crucial for ensuring that all maintenance activities are performed efficiently and in compliance with established standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and train a team of maintenance staff, fostering a culture of excellence and safety.
  • Utilize and manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track and coordinate maintenance tasks.
  • Plan and direct preventative, scheduled, and responsive maintenance for all facilities, including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general upkeep.
  • Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
  • Assist in preparing various reports, including long-range facility plans and maintenance schedules.
  • Oversee procurement and inventory management, ensuring efficient distribution of materials.
  • Evaluate and coordinate the work of assigned personnel, participating in the hiring and training processes.
  • Manage departmental budgets, monitoring financial data and controlling expenditures.
  • Maintain accurate blueprints and specifications for all facilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or equivalent experience preferred.
  • College degree and trade certifications are highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting various systems.
  • Valid Non-CDL Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
