Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team at Ryder System Inc. in Philadelphia, PA. As a CDL A Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination and delivering goods to customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as Ryder's safety policies and procedures
  • Loading and unloading freight, as well as assisting with the loading and unloading of freight as required by customers
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs, including hours of service, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Class A CDL with endorsements for the position
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions, as well as read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
