We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Diabetes and Endocrine Department at Ascension Borgess Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Obtain patient history and perform assessments via observation, interview, and examination.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies.
- Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
- Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options, and community resources.
- Document delivery of healthcare and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy.
Required Credential(s):
Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date of job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
Education:
Master's degree of Nursing required.
