Role Overview:
As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our residents. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing light cleaning duties throughout the community
- Following cleaning schedules for resident laundry, apartments, dining areas, living spaces, bathrooms, and kitchens

Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize resident apartments, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, stairways, and other communal areas
- Ensure cleanliness of floors and carpets through sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, and disinfecting as necessary
- Adhere to safety protocols, utilizing caution signs to ensure the safety of residents and visitors
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (iADLs) as per individual care plans
- Serve meals to residents in the dining room or their apartments
- Document and report any changes in residents' physical conditions to the community leadership team
- Support the Life Enrichment Coordinator in facilitating scheduled resident activities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and carts
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Must meet state requirements and certifications
- Basic written and oral communication skills in English
- A genuine passion for serving seniors

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or related roles
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimer's disease

Compensation:
Pay range: $12.50 - $15 per hour, based on experience.
