Work Schedule: Full Time Days

Shift Details: Wednesday-Thursday 9am-9:30pm

Community Overview: AdventHealth Celebration is a well-established healthcare facility designed to provide a state-of-the-art healing environment. It serves a diverse population and is committed to delivering groundbreaking, research-driven clinical solutions that integrate mind, body, and spirit.

Your Role: Under general supervision, you will oversee the daily operations in the CT department to ensure a seamless workflow, including the management of supplies within the designated budget. You will perform imaging for both neuro and body scans, execute complex 3D and CTA studies, and conduct quality assurance audits. Building and maintaining ethical relationships with referring physicians and other agencies is essential. You will actively engage in outstanding customer service and uphold respectful relationships with all stakeholders.

Your Contributions to the Team:

Demonstrate AdventHealth's core values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork through your actions.

  • Conduct all imaging exams on various patient types, ensuring adherence to AdventHealth CT protocols. Properly identify patients before exams and educate them about the procedures. Screen for contrast allergies and initiate IVs as necessary. (Exam Administration)
  • Complete exams efficiently, maintain workflow, and minimize idle time. Ensure proper communication and discharge processes post-exam. Monitor attendance and manage supply orders. (Productivity and Accountability)
  • Safely operate all imaging equipment and perform scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as needed. Serve as a clinical instructor. (Clinical Competence)
  • Ensure patient safety by screening individuals of childbearing age and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Adhere to infection control standards and radiation safety protocols. (Safety and Environment)
  • Review imaging results, repeating as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Provide feedback for employee evaluations and conduct daily critiques of CT images. (Image Quality and Documentation)

Qualifications for Success:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid State of Florida license as a General Radiographer
  • Current ARRT – R certification
  • Current ARRT – CT certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's, Bachelor's, or higher degree in a healthcare-related field
  • At least one year of CT experience at AdventHealth
  • Experience with GE CT scanners
  • Familiarity with PACS systems, specifically AGFA
