Job Title: EHS Specialist

Quest Diagnostics is seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join our team. As an EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for administering, developing, and coordinating programs designed to protect employees and the environment from harmful accidents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adapt and implement corporate safety, health, and environmental policies.
  • Develop, administer, or coordinate plans and programs to maintain a high level of safety awareness among managers and employees.
  • Administer all aspects of the workers' compensation insurance function.
  • Provide monthly safety reports to upper management and regional managers.
  • Perform or coordinate on-site safety inspections at main laboratory campus, STAT labs, PSCs, and other field locations.
  • Analyze accident/incident trends and develop training or other programs to reduce incidents.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology, Commercial Clinical Laboratory Operations, and defensive driving skills and techniques.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and DOT federal and state regulations.
  • Bachelor's Degree (Required).
